Susan Conover SDM ’15 was featured in MIT News for her work on the startup she co-founded, Piction Health. Piction is an app that assists doctors in identifying and managing skin conditions with the assistance of machine learning. Conover first became interested in the subject while she was a student at SDM dealing with her own diagnosis of skin cancer. She’s also participated in a number of MIT programs, such as the Nuts and Bolts of Founding New Ventures course, the IDEAS Social Innovation Challenge, the $100K Entrepreneurship Competition, and the I-Corps program of the Venture Mentoring Service. Conover has spoken at previous SDM events such as Systems Night.
