MIT’s System Design and Management Program (SDM), jointly offered by MIT’s School of Engineering and the MIT Sloan School of Management, combines the best of both worlds at MIT — engineering and management.
Since 1990, when US News & World Report created its annual evaluation of US graduate school programs, MIT’s School of Engineering has achieved the top score in the rankings each year. In the most recent rankings, MIT Sloan jumped from fifth to third among the nation’s MBA programs, according to the magazine. Sloan’s specialty programs in information systems, production/operations, and supply chain/logistics were again ranked first.
SDM Fellows take courses in both schools, research and write an interdisciplinary thesis, and earn a master of science degree in engineering and management. Truly, SDM offers the best of both worlds at MIT!
